Carradale Golf Course

Carradale Golf Course is regarded by many as one of the Golf Course gems in Scotland yet fairly unknown. It is located on the east coast of the Kintyre peninsula with panoramic views across the Kilbrannan Sound towards the Isle of Arran. Although only a 9 hole heathland/moorland course, each one has its own feature and is very popular with the local and visiting players. It is a tricky course with small greens and natural hazards which can test even the experienced golfer. It has been described as the ‘most sporting nine-hole course in Scotland’. The 6th hole (Pudding Bowl) has recently featured on the Signature Special Hole Golf website.

The course measures 4576 yards and has four tee markers :

• White, (Gents Medal),  4576 Yards, Par 65 SS 62
• Yellow, 3988 Yards, Par 66
• Red (Ladies Medal) 3920 Yards, Par 66, SS 63
• Blue 3920 Yards, Par 66

61 is record for White tees

Please note white and red tees are for competitive play and yellow and blue are for social golf.

The Clubhouse provides excellent changing facilities.

Machrihanish Dunes Golf Course

Take on the wild dunes of the world’s most natural golf course. Set hard against the Atlantic Ocean on Scotland’s west coast, the award winning Machrihanish Dunes shares breathtaking views and a majestic dunescape with the mighty Atlantic providing a dramatic backdrop. Today’s golfers can enjoy the game as it was meant to be played. Here you will experience, possibly for the first time, golf the way it began. This is the true essence of the game at its most basic: golfer against the elements, golfer against himself and golfer against a wholly natural course that is never stagnant. The joy of the game in its oldest and purest form – links golf – lies in adapting to the precise conditions of time and place. The ever-changing linksland at Machrihanish Dunes gives you a rare opportunity to create and craft golf shots you might never have imagined playing before.
